Crowded space from top and bottom of the Neocortex

Greeting all,
Thought I’d share my observation regarding the “Crowdiness” of the top and bottom of the neocortex.
It may mean something to how information is passed around.

This address one of the issues I struggle with - the “spreading” of a representation over a larger area to sample a differently scaled representation.

I will be looking into this further to see if there is any research in this area.

This may be a bit more correct but of course, the scale in question would need to test the parameter in spreads, the distance in how far apart, the number of valleys and peak the neocortex has.

This is a flat-map of a brain with full of gyrus/sulcus (valley/peak).
