First of all, NuPIC will never predict a sequence like x=y or x=y! or x=y2 because those functions don’t create repeating sequences. They just go on in one direction forever, there are never any patterns to understand. It does better with a repeating pattern like x=sin(y) but still not good (for other reasons)
