# Paper - High-dimensional brain

This paper applies not only to neurons but to some types of associative memory (AM):

Since conspiracy theories are all the rage these days it seems that some early papers on cryogenic magnetic associative memory from the 1960’s have disappeared from [archive.org](http://archive.org).  
Including plans to build 1 million element AM, a massive number in those days when digital computers had only a few kilobytes of memory.  
It is a real pity the early AM research was dropped, ignored and lost through the 1970’s, 1980’s and onward.
