# Predictive Processing vs Predictive Dendrites

Unfortunately this is wrong. There are not predictive cells, there are predictive dendrites. The “predictive state” of cells in TM leaves the cell as inactive. It is only AFTER the present input is matched that the cells in a “predictive state” become active.
