# Problem installing nupic

Hi,

When I tried to install nupic on my standalone laptop I get the following error…

Command “python setup.py egg\_info” failed with error code 1 in c:\users\hppc~1\appdata\local\temp\pip-build-sd5tdo\pyproj\

I am using Microsoft Windows Home edition and Anaconda 2

I’m sorry, but we do not currently support [Anaconda](https://github.com/numenta/nupic/issues/3167).
