# Running nupic on Visual Studio 2017

Hi all,

I have uploaded a pull request [here](https://github.com/numenta/nupic.core/pull/1377). Please let me know if you have any questions.

If there is any interest I have a pull request ready which contains a Visual Studio 2017 solution with some documentation on how to compile and run the code.

Did you test it with vs2015? Does it work?

I think it should work. But the hardest part is to create the solution and have all the dependencies compiled with VS2015. I suggest you stick with vcpkg as much as possible.
