I’m an early retired programmer. I am average at best at coding, but I ended up by accident in a field where tenacity and consistency were more important than knowledge: the car industry.

The best programming teacher I ever had once told me that a programmer should be lazy but intelligent. Well, I definitely am the former.

I studied philosophy of free will and I am convinced we don’t have any. I am also a big fan of Ray Kurzweil’s law of accelerating returns. Yet I am an open-minded skeptic. I also study music theory and play the piano (poorly), but it gives me interesting insights in how my brain works.

When I learned about HTM and Numenta (through video’s by Jeff Hawkins and Matt Taylor), it blew my mind. I feel I need to learn more about this. I hope in time I might be able to contribute.
