A question on consciousness :D

Hi everyone, so I am a college kid who read on intelligence recently.

And I also happened to take one of statistic class in our school.

Then I am thinking.

Could we represent conscious using a collection of firing neurons marking the current situation?

Then make a max expected reward decision which is calculated by the amount of dopamine or other neuron transmitters released by a sequential stimulation on memory.

Does it sound Bayesian?

Hi @Bear and welcome to the forum. There is a long and very detailed conversation on consciousness at Intelligence vs Consciousness, so Iā€™m going to refer you there instead of starting up another conversation on the subject. Please read through this, and if you still have thoughts, post them there. Thanks!
