DARPA’s new Lifelong Learning Machines (L2M) program “aims to develop fundamentally new ML mechanisms that will enable systems to learn from experience on the fly—much the way children and other biological systems do, using life as a training set.”
Could be a good opportunity for HTM related projects out there.

I’ve looked at the announcement and agree that this appears to be a good fit for HTM/CLA approaches. Has anyone from the community thought of applying for this opportunity? If so, would anyone be interested in collaborating on a proposal submission? The deadline for abstracts has passed (May 3), but that appears to be optional requirement intended to give proposers feedback on their ideas. The deadline for full proposals is June 21.
