Claudia Fugazza is doing very lively and enlightening work on social- and spatial-cognitive skills in dogs.
I bet this will enlighten the work on olefaction as a SPATIAL sense.

Thanks for sharing. I have wondering what a Reinforcement Learning gym/simulator for SMELL would look like. I am not sure what the goal would be… tracking prey? Finding the source of a random odor? Could be interesting.
