When it comes to Patient H.M., I’m having a hard time finding a reliable source for how “Molaison” is pronounced. I looked up every Suzanne Corkin video on YouTube and she calls him Henry and HM all the time and never pronounces his last name that I can find (she seemed like the most likely source for the preferred pronunciation). Is anyone certain they know the standard pronunciation? Is it Moe-lay-zun, or Mu-lie-zone, or something else maybe?
If you search something like “forvo how to pronounce Henry Gustav Molaison”, it should give you the french pronunciation. I’m not sure if it’s reliable, but the two french speakers pronounce it the same way.
