KurzweilAI: Researchers decipher how faces are encoded in the brain

Found this article on KurzweilAI entitled Researchers decipher how faces are encoded in the brain
Although, I think the title could have been, “Researchers confirm Jeff Hawkins and Numenta’s research”.
The article says they found the “face cells” and each face is encoded in multiple neurons. They call it multi-dimensional “face space”, but it appears to me that they’re looking at the SDRs of these neurons firing and seeing how they map to the various faces.
