I showed before that by forming the weighted sum of multiple threshold values it is possible to form an effective associative memory. For that to work in a single neuron there would need to be some mechanism to weight and sum the multiple thresholds, and also learn (easy) and store (difficult) the weights. That would be a very sophisticated neuron.
