An intuition combined with a google search resulted in

I was just thinking about short term vs long term memory, as an experience I had earlier involved being informed of something that I completely had forgotten about within a minute - not consciously exerting any effort in maintaining it - but the information popped right back up once I was reminded of it, all within 5 minutes. To me, with the information becoming entirely forgotten while I engaged in other tasks seemed to be something that wasn’t plausible just idle activity in some side-area of my brain, and when I remembered it I can comment that it felt episodic, I literally was reminded of the moment the information was given to me…
