Im curious if you’ve have had internal discussions about using neuromodulation as a motivation for boosting. I’m not a trained neuroscientist, but i read a fair amount. My thinking is that neuromodulators, like acetylcholine, might make certain populations of neurons (columns) more or less likely to become active based upon their recent activity levels. This may indeed by in your literature somewhere, and I may have missed it. Nevertheless, given that you guys are so biologically inspired, it seems like it might be a better fit than a generic term like boosting. Further, this idea might be testable. Just curious your thoughts. thanks.
