Here-s an old, forgotten paper discussing a means multiple AI agents each capable of solving parts of different problems could cooperate/coordinate to build dynamic hierarchies in a sort of economic system.
I guess it could be inspiring in figuring out ways to implement the hive of micro agents or other incarnations of “thousand-brains” emergent structures.
PS the paper’s terminology reads less cryptic when one sees what this algorithm is, in its original sense
