Looking for bitworm example

I found in this old document some interesting examples like bitworm, waves etc.

Do we have somewhere similar or related examples for JAVA or Python or both?

Even more interesting is this example:

In general, I’m looking for examples, which demonstrate invariant representation.

I almost hesitate to bring it up, because it is a hard read, but if you are looking for invariant representations: Deep Predictive Learning: A Comprehensive Model of Three Visual Streams.
