That’s funny. In Europe it’s already the 27th. This must be the worst case of time lag since the soviets realigned their calendar in 1918. ;-).
[Hawkins, paraphrased] SDR’s are almost random. Therefore there seems to be nothing you could do to look at them other than temporal proximity.
(Kropff & Treves, 2008) uses this exact principle make grid cells activate in a stable/viewpoint-invariant way.
