This is a fascinating paper, far too much to take in on the first read.
I will be coming back to this until it makes sense to me.

" The tree of life describes the evolution of life and seeks to define the relationships between species. Likewise, the tree of cell types aims to organize cells in the brain into groups and describe their relationships to each other."

Excellent. One day we will have a true computational theory behind these different types of neurons; a foundational SDR-based theory of which there are variations.
