Place cell like activity in M1 & S1

Hi everyone,

I’m super fresh to the forums and HTM in general. I wanted to share a paper that might be of interest to some of you. Basically, place cell-like activity was found in M1 and S1 of primates. The connection I make to HTM is that it shows the coding of location in early cortical areas.

Hopefully some might find this relevant!

Hi “mstrtreat”, thanks for joining the forum! I’ll try to find some time to read this paper, but if what the summary says is true, it is supportive of the Thousand Brains Theory.
