That’s all fine and dandy, and I agree the impact of current supervised networks may be like that. If it is true that the complements of cheap prediction become more expensive then that is not going to help the burgeoning underclass who will remain priced out of basic services like healthcare.
Anyway the video does not take into account any form of Alife that may emerge.
If it is true that you may arrange evolution on digital systems to be say 1 million times more efficient than biological evolution then you may start seeing such things soon.
