Keep in mind that you can write a python program to use NuPIC’s python API and specify running the algorithms in C++. That’s what we do. (Of course the documentation is not very clear about how to do this.)
I hear you, and I’m working on it! New API docs for NuPIC include some general guides for the software as we move towards a 1.0 release.
