I’ve been attempting to familiarize myself with HTM through the “Hot Gym” and “HTM Engine Traffic” tutorials. I haven’t gotten very far though. Everything I do gives me error messages and my troubleshooting rarely works. I’ve spent the last two days trying to get the packages ready and HTM Engine up and running. I’ve installed everything required just as instructed.
I’ve read through many threads in the forum, and It’s come to my attention that the Nupic and HTM Engine setup guides are out of date.
This has caused me to have a world of trouble getting started in HTM Learning.
Are there any guides that are up to date?
We hear you. There is an effort going on in the HTM-Community/cpp repository to clean up the C++ extension library and provide the ability to build under Visual Studio 2017 and use the latest compilers. It will allow using Python 3.x as well. We are not there yet but we are working on it. When finished the effort to install and startup should be MUCH easier.
Anyone that would like to help out on this effort are welcome.
Use older versions of the packages. In a virtual python environment.
its been an year now , has there been any progress on this ? , I am facing the same issue
The HTM.core repository is fairly complete now.
