Can anyone provide numbers regarding the number of distal dendrites a neuron grows given its participation in N number of patterns with some specific layer parameters?
On what basis are the max synapses on a distal dendrite determined?

I do not know but I would make an educated guess of 100 dendritic branches each with about 50 synapses for a total of 5000 synapses.
