Jeff recently let me borrow this book:

Cajal created some amazing drawings. Have a look at some of these neurons:

I didn’t know this before reading the book, but Cajal was instrumental to the field of modern neuroscience. Before him, the common knowledge was that the brain was one large webbed construct, not a collection of individual units.
