The Numenta Road Map

I was watching a talk by Jeff Hawkins on YouTube entitled “Principles of Hierarchical Temporal Memory (HTM): Foundations of Machine Intelligence”, in the presentation he talks about the Numenta Roadmap and shows a diagram of the road map which is the functions of the different layers a cortical column and a percentage of what Jeff considers “done” in terms of theory of each layer strong text.

This presentation was given 7 years ago, so i was wondering what progress has been made on this road map, where do grid cells and displacement cells fall on this roadmap(which layers are they located at).

Also I’ve heard of “goal cells” that distort grid cells, was wondering is there is any thought about this when it comes the “goal oriented behavior” in layer 5
