A question on consciousness :D

Hi everyone, so I am a college kid who read on intelligence recently.

And I also happened to take one of statistic class in our school.

Then I am thinking.

Could we represent conscious using a collection of firing neurons marking the current situation?

Then make a max expected reward decision which is calculated by the amount of dopamine or other neuron transmitters released by a sequential stimulation on memory.

Does it sound Bayesian?

Hi @Bear and welcome to the forum. There is a long and very detailed conversation on consciousness at Intelligence vs Consciousness, so I’m going to refer you there instead of starting up another conversation on the subject. Please read through this, and if you still have thoughts, post them there. Thanks!
